WOUNDED HEART

Tears were falling from my eyes
Blurred vision is all I can see now
A familiar scene was turning to pieces
But I’m not sure that once this made me delightful

I had been a fighter for several years
I’ve made this to assure my existence
To experience the glitters of life and perfection

I am a thief in the darkest night
Full of pretensions, wearing a mask
Exhausted, living in a world of lies
Trying not to care, as if my heart is bare

I struggled eagerly to ease the pain
Killing memories so that nothing will remain
Hatred was rushing from my vein
You’ve hurt me so much ‘til the end

Don’t you know that my heart gets tired too?
Enough, it’s worth it to forget someone like you
I’ll never fall in love again, that is true
‘Coz my heart is now wounded and it’s because of you

Song of the Nightshade

Long after midnight, way past one,
a song is sung yet heard by none.
Before the twilight and rising sun,
the grasses cry and the trees they hum.
Darkness creeps across the earth,
yet here come sounds of joy and mirth.
Close your eyes and listen here!
To hear her song so plain and clear!
One part whisper, one part scream,
two parts real, & three parts dream.

Her silent hymn blasts through the night,
then quietly echoes through it's height.
Then again she sings anew!
Another verse both false and true.

Her lips are sealed yet her voice escapes,
dancing fire, the sound creates.
Then just before sunrise,
an hour before dawn,
she stirs and awakens thus ends her song.

When shampoo gets in my eye I cry
I try not to but I do

I wash I wash the suds
They cling like infernal buds

I scream I rage I do
Anyway I changed the fecundity of my shampoo

I FALL ALL OVER AGAIN

Years has passed us by, and moments has gone old
Time heals all wounds, I was told
Only memories are all that is left
Hiding the truth and pain, never I am adept
Here was a heart that clings on yesterdays
A mind that ponder your beautiful ways
I haven't gotten over you, or the way we shared our tender kisses
The way we held hands, and commune personal wishes

Don't stray on my path, for I may not be strong
I might love you again even if to someone, now, you belong
Don't look into my eyes and look into my soul
My begging spirit that yearns for your love I may not control
Don't be the one to help my broken heart mend
Cause I might not resist to fall all over again.

You found someone new - a person to call your own
While here I am reminiscing the past, in silence, all alone
Just the mere thought of our sweet promises of until then
Makes my heart skip a beat, makes me want to fall all over again.

I'd let the tranquility of the night embrace my being
May this darkness drown all my heavy, lonely feelings
With an ember of hope and burning promise that everything starts - then ends
Sooner or later; in love, I fall all over again.

Here's one i composed on a jeep on my way home. ^_^ it turned out kinda dark but i meant it to be a child's poem... oh well... i guess black ink really is my style

Balete

There lies a secret in the dark,
A secret made of flesh and bark.
It whispers softly in your ear,
In hopes to draw you ever near.
It wraps your throat with tender force,
Then lets it's poison run it's course.

Your lips they taste sweet sap and mud,
While it's roots feast on your blood.
It sings to you a haunting song,
To reassure you nothing's wrong.
And as you come t'ward your death,
The secret swiftly steals your breath.

For now the secret stays untold,
Revealed but to the dead and bold.
